About We Rock the Spectrum Up North
We Rock the Spectrum Up North is a family-owned trio, Carmy (mother) and two daughters, Kristy, and Kayle. Their journey to entrepreneurship is deeply rooted in their personal experiences and led to an unwavering commitment to provide better resources to their community for all children/ families.
In 2020 their family welcomed sweet baby, Apollo, amid the pandemic. Perfect then (and now) in every way, Apollo was born with a full mutation Fragile X Syndrome (FXS), an inherited genetic disorder that causes intellectual disability, behavioral and learning challenges, along with various additional health issues. Almost immediately their family learned and appreciated the absolute need within their community for better resources for not only their family, but all families, who were walking a similar journey to theirs. Alas, We Rock the Spectrum Up North was born.
Carmy, Kristy, and Kayle’s share collaborative and diverse backgrounds in nursing, therapy, and executive leadership. With these unique set of offerings, they are committed to enhancing their communities’ resources and fostering an environment where all children can play, learn, and thrive.
